In an effort to roll out some different and unique features only found at Hoosier Access, we will be covering the Hoosiers for Fair Taxation tax protest held in Indianapolis at the City-County Building for a future video podcast installment.  This will be our first venture into video podcasting, so hopefully it will go well.  We hope to talk to organizers of the rally as well as get their thoughts on how to replace the income to the state and local governments brought in by property taxes.

Maybe, we’ll even get some snippets on what they think of Indianapolis Mayor Bart Peterson’s plans to slash $13 million from the Indy budget.  The Indianapolis Star already talked to some people to get their views on what should be cut from the budget.  All in all, the voice of the people will be heard and that’s what this site is about.

  1. Quite a few items I personally would consider expendable in a “fiscally responsible” (per Mayor Peterson’s phrase) budget were sitting on their patronage keisters clapping for a campaign speech in the cool chamber gallery, while actual constituents were mainly left to simmer outside.
