Okay, so there weren’t any verbal punches thrown or fist fights to break up, but Thomas of Blue Indiana and I had a pleasant conversation this morning on Abdul’s radio program. We talked about issues that we’re discussing on our blogs, property taxes (specifically school referendums) the 7th CD race and a few other assorted topics. I wish we had had time to talk about the 7th CD race more because, off the air we got into a really good discussion about the candidates, Andre Carson’s faith, and the relative inexperience of both candidates running in the special. That would have made for good radio, but those blasted advertisements that pay Abdul’s and Chris’ salaries kept interupting good conversations.

I hope to have the audio available to play sometime soon.

  1. Nice photo there…the “Red state” guy is taking the head off the “Blue state” guy. Now, this isn’t to be construed as meaning I support using violence to achieve political victory, but merely that when it comes to intellectual “fighting”, conservatism is much more defensable than liberalism.

  2. Those are classic Rock ‘em Sock ‘em Robots. I knew they were red and blue so I had to look for a graphic like that.

I, of course, do support using violence to achieve political victory. :) (for the humor impaired, that was a joke)

  3. Brian, Brian, Brian … how many times do we need to tell you, intellectually fighting a Moonbat is like The Rock wrestling someone in handcuffs and their legs hogtied.
