One of My Goals in Life Has Been Achieved

My liveblog of Mitt Romney’s speech has been quoted by gay website The Bilerico Project in their “Homotextual” section:

7:57 - Mocks John Edwards’ haircut. For those of you in Kentucky, that’s the pot calling the kettle black right there.
Indiana blog HoosierAccess.com liveblogging presidential candidates Mitt Romney’s speech to the Midwest Republican Leadership Conference

This, of course, marks the fulfillment of one of my goals in life.

For those of you keeping track, these are the Hoosierpundit’s goals in life (in no particular order):

* Live long.
* Prosper.
* Achieve utter and total world domination.
* Visit Room 101 (accomplished by visiting a Baron Hill campaign rally).
* Have hair as good as John Edwards or Mitt Romney.
* Have a wife that looks like Jeri Thompson.
* Be quoted by Bilerico (Woohoo!).

  1. For sale. John Edwards wig. $19.95 + s/h/sales tax.

  2. *laughs* Glad to help you out, Scott. :)

    Seriously though, that line was laugh out loud funny. I had to share it with my readers. You did an excellent job of covering the convention. Kudos to you for the in-depth coverage!

  3. Thanks. I wasn’t expecting to get quoted or linked to by your site, that’s for sure.

  4. You’ll notice I didn’t quote you - just the site. :) I didn’t want anyone trying to extrapolate anything…

    I’m not a usual visitor, I’ll admit. But I did stop by for the excellent coverage of the conference. Does this mean Indiana finally has a conservative blog that’s more than just “I hate queers, blacks and/or Democrats depending on the day!”? You should check us out more often - we have a couple rather conservative queers too. :)

  5. Thanks for the compliment on the coverage.

    Pretty much all of my dislike goes toward Democrats exclusively, and only on days that end in Y. The rest goes to people from Kentucky, and University of Kentucky fans in particular.

    But more seriously, we are trying to raise the quality of political discourse in the Indiana blogosphere; it can be found to be lacking on both sides of the aisle.

  6. Too bad we can’t get a gay blog with more substance than “we hate Christians”. That’d be a good start, and you may find a little more open debate.
