Giving Some Love to a North East Indiana Blogger

Angry White Boy has an interesting post on the Matt Kelty race, but highlights the continued strained relationship between, as he puts it, “Good Old Boy” Republicans who fund races and Christian conservative voters who are the ones counted on to vote. It’s not just a problem in Allen County, but it’s a problem around the whole state that’s going to blow eventually…I fear.

The Story of Blue Dog

Heh. It’s amazing what you can do with those video programs these days.

It’s worth noting that, as of right now, “Majority” is actually the most unpopular person in town, and the most unpopular person in the town’s history.

Hat tip on the video: Left in Aboite, who dedicated it to Brad Ellsworth, Joe Donnelly, and (of course) Baron Hill.

Unofficial Ballard Ads Getting Attention

Tuesday, September 18th, 2007

Yesterday, WTHR Channel 13 ran a story on the sudden emergence of unofficial campaign You Tube ads for Greg Ballard. See a couple of the new ones that were posted here yesterday.

If Greg Ballard can’t run his own campaign ads, leave it to the people to get his back.  Frankly, it looks like the average citizen is picking up where the Party left off once again putting elections in the hands of the voters where they rightly belong.  If you watch the video of the story, Marion County Republican Chair Tom John gives a serious backhanded compliment to those who made the ads as “…all of these people with computers in their basement putting together very slick, very good ads…”.  I know he meant well, but it does sound like those who made the ads are pajama wearing weirdos sitting in a dark room conspiring against the Mayor.  Personally I don’t think that’s the case.  I think these are voters who are upset about what’s going on in Marion County and voicing their displeasure the only way they know how.

See more of these unofficial ads here.  Most of them are quite funny but get the point across.
