FFA National Convention in Indianapolis

Next week, approximately 55,000 individuals from across the nation will descend upon Indianapolis for the 80th National Future Farmer’s of America Convention. It will be held October 24-27 and will use many of the major venues around Indianapolis (RCA Dome, Fair Grounds, Conseco Fieldhouse, Convention Center).

Indianpolis is scheduled to host the FFA convention through 2012. As an added bonus, it should bring aprox 30 Million dollars into the local economy this year.

So if you are Indianapolis next week, be sure to show some Hoosier Hosipitality to the FFA!

  1. Imagine this - 55,000 teenagers in downtown Indy - and the police just stand around bored because these FFA kids are quite well behaved. Unlike some other event in downtown Indy that will remain nameless
