Time for a Performance Review

The Democrat Congress has been in business for 12 months. After those 12 months the NRCC decided to do a review of how some members of the new Democrat majority are doing. For your reading pleasure and for your information when you go into the voting booth next November, please see the below performance report issued for Indiana’s own Baron Hill.

  1. Good stuff! It’d be interesting to see how they– or a more objective “party”– would rate the previous Republican Congress…

  2. The related irony from today’s news is Bush’s decision to talk tough about earmarks. If matched by action, one could argue, simultaneously, that 1.) the Democratic Congress is lame; and 2.) given the general lack of fiscal restraint among Republican politicians, a Democratic Congress with Republican President Bush is quite an improvement!

It’d be difficult to give the Democrats a “poor” on #4 if their presence is causing greater fiscal restraint.
