We’ve been feeling the effects of global warming in Northwest Indiana recently with negative 20 degree F wind chill factors that threaten frostbite in minutes and Winter Storm warnings filled with inches and inches of snow.
The National Weather Service’s Chicago page says:
It seems like it might be a great time to have a big global warming rally to Make A Difference!
Maybe we can hold up signs to protest carbon emissions from all of those snow plows traveling along the expressways.
Let’s all meet up on the sides of I-65, holding hands from Northwest Indiana all the way to Indianapolis to Louisville to protest global warming tonight!

Choruses of “We Are the World” are being sung in my head as I imagine what that chain of people would look like.

It is my opinion that the poles are in the process of shifting. Sometime in the next two hundred years or so, the North Pole will relocate to somewhere just south of Lexington, Nebraska.
