I have to admit, I about rolled out of my chair laughing when I saw this:
From the South Bend Tribune:
SOUTH BEND — Presidential hopeful Sen. Barack Obama will make a late-night appearance Wednesday at the same South Bend high school where his Democratic primary opponent, Sen. Hillary Clinton, was denied an appearance nearly two weeks ago.
Emphasis obviously mine, but I mean, how soon before this is another SNL skit about Hillary complaining that Obama get’s more love from practically everyone and she gets nadda! As a Republican, I love it. But if I were a Hillary supporter, I’d be steamed about this.
School officials say the appearance isn’t during school hours, as Clinton’s would have been, and therefore is not a disruption to classes.
I still find that to be the lamest excuse I’ve ever heard in deny a presidential candidate time to hold a rally at your school. But truth be told, Obama is coming during spring break. No matter, he didn’t want the kids at the school. He wanted the Notre Dame students. But wait, where’s Dave Matthews?

I didn’t even think about the Notre Dame student angle.
I wonder if Notre Dame won’t let Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton speak on campus because their support for abortion on demand is in opposition to the Catholic Church’s view on that social justice issue?
