State House District 89 Candidate Withdraws

Larry Cooper, a perennial ballot filler that filed to run in the primary along with Michael Batz after the Party supported Christopher Swatts, dropped out of the Primary on Friday.

This leaves just one candidate for Chris Swatts contend instead of a three way race.

  1. Michael,

You should consider stating the name of “the Party” referred to in your posting.

I found Chris Swatts’ information on the Marion County Republican Party website. I also know that this is a “Republican” blog, but it would still be nice if you told people what parties you are referring to as Democrat, Republican, etc.

Has anyone heard the reason for Chris stepping down?

I’m guessing that his name and photo are already printed on the “GOP slated candidates’ card” to be handed out for the Primary. If his information is handed out with other GOP candidates for the Primary, his chances of winning are pretty good. It will be interesting to see what the GOP will do if he wins the Primary.

  2. Not only do you not have the facts, you’re also spreading misinformation.

    READ THE POST AGAIN!!!

Larry Cooper is the one who dropped out. NOT CHRIS SWATTS!!

Chris Swatts is still the slated candidate and is working hard to ensure a primary victory.

As far as the remainder of your criticism - Our blog, Our rules. STFU.

  3. Okay, I see what you were trying to communicate.

I’m convinced that your opening sentence could have been written to be more easily understood, but maybe that’s just me.

(I’m sure you’ll see it as my short coming, because of your belief that you are never wrong.)

  4. misinterpretation of the “facts”–fault of the poster or the one who misinterpreted them? I’ll copy the first sentence.

“Larry Cooper, a perennial ballot filler that filed to run in the primary along with Michael Batz after the Party supported Christopher Swatts, dropped out of the Primary on Friday.”

did we graduate (or not) from IPS??
