Post Primary Wrap Up Show on Hoosier Access Radio

It’s that time again folks! It’s time for a little Hoosier Access Radio. Normally we do these podcast recordings the first Saturday of every month, but since last Saturday was the last weekend to campaign, we put off the show a week so we could talk about what happened Tuesday night.

The Blogger Roundtable will include discussions on:

  • What are JLT and the state Democrats to do now?
  • Why won’t Hillary turn her key?
  • What can Republicans do to minimize losses nationally
  • ….and of course, talk about what happened Tuesday night (including Tony Zirkle getting 6,000 votes?!?!?)

We’re also going to try an experiment on making this interactive. So we’re going to open this podcast up as an interactive live blog as well. It works like Instant Messenger. So here are the details:

  • We’re recording at a new location (Ft. Harrison VFW Post 7119)
  • We’re recording at a different time starting at 6:30pm (b/c of pole day at the track)
  • We’re live blogging right here on HA while recording so everyone can participate
  • If you can’t participate in the live blog, just leave your questions in the comment section in this post.

Catch it all tomorrow night!

  5. I am not IN resident but follow Congress races closely. I would like to hear from IN posters on where they think the Hill vs Sodrel match stands and if Donnelly is at all vulnerable and does Republican running against Ellsworth have any prayer? Has Elrod congress campaign just closed up shop too?

    Thanks for insight

Hill vs. Sodrel Part 4 will be a barnburner down to the last precinct on November 4th. Donnelly is very much beatable. He sold himself as a “blue dog” and has been anything but. Now that the albatross of Tony Zirkle is gone, Luke can concentrate on the fall campaign. [Disclaimer: Luke Puckett is endorsed by the Board of Hoosier Access. I am not a member of said board]
I’ll let someone more knowledgeable about the 8th answer the question about Goode vs. Ellsworth. Jon Elrod had no credible primary competition and is now actively fundraising. I haven’t spoke to him in a while but I think he let the Dems beat each other up and watched the action. Considering the likely 20-30% participation in Operation Chaos I thought Jon did a wise move by keeping low key and not spending on a primary campaign. The hard-core GOP folks in Marion County were supporting Jon so he had little to worry about. I received a letter from him this week after the election. I plan to contribute soon.
