The Ryerson Rag reports an AP article (what? no local reporting?) stating the Marion County GOP will hold a caucus for selecting the candidate to replace Jon Elrod on the 7th Congressional District ballot. This caucus will be held on July 18th.

My sources tell me a couple candidates have expressed interest, though unlike the Rag article, I’m informed it’s not just City-County Councilors interested in the position. One is Gabrielle Campo, a Warren Township resident who ran in the caucus to for the Special Election. The other is rumored to be former City-County Councilman and RINO Scott Keller.
