Besides the fact that all of her money is coming from outside of Indiana and from super-liberal groups like the pro-abortion Emily’s List, of course.
From the Journal-Gazette:
INDIANAPOLIS – Republicans last week pushed Democratic governor hopeful Jill Long Thompson to post her campaign donations online for public viewing as contributions come in – a la GOP Gov. Mitch Daniels.
“Hoosiers deserve to know who is funding campaigns, and any donations to Jill Long Thompson should be made accessible to voters without delay,” Indiana Republican Party Chairman Murray Clark said.
Daniels has a running list on his campaign Web site – www.mymanmitch.com – of 2008 donations. It isn’t always up-to-date – the latest donation reported is from June 30 – but voters can page through and see who is giving what.
I’m not thinking that voters in the heartland of the Hoosier state are going to buy anything Jill Long Thompson says, the more they hear about her liberal Congressional voting record and the leftist special interests that are financing her gubernatorial campaign.
No window-dressing by Dennie Ray Oxley II is going to conceal the essential truth that the candidate at the top of the state Democratic ticket is the most liberal major party nominee to ever seek the governorship in the entire history of the state of Indiana. (more…)
Ever wonder why Dan Parker spends most of his time issuing press releases full of empty rhetoric and negative smears?
Ever wonder why they’re all directed to help his party’s Congressional candidates, rather than his party’s gubernatorial candidate?
Anyhow…
To their latest daily eruption of vapidity and hot air:
Arctic Power has lobbied Congress for nearly two decades, often on behalf of the oil industry. The Anchorage Daily News reported that, “Arctic Power has been working Congress since 1992, and has spent most of its money lobbying to open ANWR.” [Anchorage Daily News, Editorial, 4/23/08 ]
I am shocked, shocked, to learn that oil companies might want more drilling in places like ANWR.
I hate to break it to Democrats, but everyone but them and their greenie-weanie special interest backers wants more drilling in places like ANWR.
