Listening to the “First Day” show on WIBC-FM (93.1) hosted by now former Indianapolis Star columnist John Strauss - he was mentioning the amount of litter leftover from IBE Summer Celebration and how Indianapolis DPW worked overnight to clean up all the trash left on the downtown streets. Strauss mentioned he picked up a bagful of trash in front of Emmis studios on Monument Circle himself.

I didn’t go downtown all of last week, but hearing the comparison of downtown streets to Indianapolis Motor Speedway after a race…. yikes!

I wonder how much garbage is leftover on the streets after an FFA convention? That’s what I thought.
