Hey, for those who are interested, we will be hosting a fundraising golf outing for Luke Puckett on August 4, at noon, at the Wildcat Creek Golf Course in Kokomo. Special guest will be Congressman Dan Burton. Cost is $175 per person.

You know, I have to laugh when I keep hearing accusations that lobbyists paid for this trip. On behalf of the Puckett for Congress campaign, allow me to reiterate that this trip was paid for by the individual candidates.

The role played by Artic Power was much like that of the Farm Bureau. If you want to learn about farming in Indiana, one of the best places you can turn to is the Indiana Farm Bureau. They understand farmers and farming and they've got important contacts with various organizations and individuals in the farming community. If you're a candidate and you want to know more about farming the IFB is a great resource to turn to. The same is true of Arctic Power. They have the contacts and the knowledge that we were looking for so they helpfully played the role of tour guide for this trip.

I'll just toss in here the fact that Luke Puckett has personally pledged to forego all earmarks until the earmark process can be reformed. He's calling for a two year suspension of earmarks across the board until the entire process can be reviewed, changed, and brought out into the sunlight of good government procedures.

Unlike at least one of Indiana's current Democratic Congressmen, Luke Puckett will not be handing out earmarks to lobbyists.

You know Mikeyc252, I asked him point blank about that very thing. And guess what? Luke Puckett paid for Luke Puckett to go. In fact, the entire delegation paid for it out of pocket. I thought I would bring it up since people like you were spreading such nonsense that instead of fueling the speculation, I would actually ask him about it.

Did you ever think about trying that? No, it's too easy to follow the DCCC talking points isn't it.

There you go spreading the D'Rat talking points. Did you not see the video(es)? Did you not hear the Hoosier Access Radio podcast? Lobbyists DID NOT pay for Luke Puckett's trip to ANWR.

I'm surprised no one's criticized him for getting his Arctic visit paid for by lobbyists.

This is actually great news for Luke. If the Democrats feel the need to try and smear Luke, then they must have polls that frighten them. Luke is an outstanding young man and he will not be stopped by the liberal Democratic politics of destruction. Donnelly should repudiate this garbage or should be taken to task himself.
