Town Of Speedway Wants To Restrict Motorcycles During Races

The Town of Speedway led by Town Manager (and former Bart Peterson flunkie) Barbara Lawrence wants to pass an anti-motorcycle ordinance “in time” for the Red Bull MotoGP event in September.

The ordinance seeks to ban “loud pipes” on motorcycles in the Town of Speedway, but the kicker is the ban will only be enforced during IMS events, the 500, the Brickyard 400, MotoGP, and if it were to return - Formula One.

A pipes ban being enforced during MotoGP weekend makes about as much sense as a subwoofer ban being enforced during Indiana Black Expo…. oh wait a subwoofer ban would be construed as racist we can’t have that now can we……

Nice going Town of Speedway let’s chase away the motorcyclists from the largest motorcycle event in Indiana.
