I just saw it myself for the first time just now on Fox 59. The Obamassiah stated in the ad during McCain’s tenure in Congress we’ve become more independent on foreign oil, and gas prices have increased exponentially while McCain voted “against alternative energy”. B. Hussein also stated in his ad what could be considered a slight towards Sen. McCain’s age by stating “McCain has been in the Senate for 22 years”. Meanwhile B. Hussein Obama has only served in the Senate for going on 4 years now, courtesy of the Chicago Tribune.
Obama’s plan includes “energy independence” by drastically increasing auto efficency, increasing spending on vaporware “alternative energy” and just to sell it all to John Q. Public, a mere $1000 tax cut for “middle class families”. By the way, I’ve figured it up and I’ve spent well over $1000 more on fuel since the Dems took over Congress than before.
When B. Hussein Obama talks about energy independence, he really doesn’t mean it because he opposes drilling in ANWR and off the coasts. He’s rather let the Chinese come in and get to it horizontally from Cuba [Yes, I know they aren't doing it yet but they'll surely try it soon].
“Drastically increasing auto efficency” means new vehicles will resemble Renault’s Le Car or the Yugo. Remember those rolling junkyards?
Increasing spending on alternative energy means passing the loot among friends such as Algore. Don’t forget to buy your carbon credits from Al while you’re at it.
And it’ll all be better with a $1000 tax cut. Puh-leeze.
What do you do when you hold a press conference and no one shows up?
If you’re Nels Ackerson, you just keep on talking.
Check out the picture from the event: you will see Nel’s is speaking, but there’s no one there in front of him listening…
A “friend” of Indiana’s Hardball even brought me photographic proof.
Ackerson held a supposed press conference in Zionsville earilier this week (on Tuesday) where he falsely attacked Congressman Steve Buyer’s long record of support for veterans.
I know… I was thinking the same thing.
Our “friend” reported that no press showed up and the only people that were there was Nels, members of his staff, five veterans, the guy who took the picture, and two people who wondered up from the nearby walking path.
And I think the two people only stopped because Ackerson blocked the path in the park.
So, let’s ask why is it that no one showed up?

Jefferson Poole of Blue Grass, Red State, a blog located in Louisville, Kentucky, was able to get a quick audio interview with 9th CD Candidate Mike Sodrel about his recent trip to Prudhoe Bay and ANWR. He also gets Mike’s thoughts about Evan Bayh being on Barack Obama’s short list for VP.
Listen to Mike Sodrel’s interview with Jefferson here.
I was sent a scan of a campaign flyer of Cherrish Pryor, Democrat candidate for HD94, and being the political hack I am I looked it over carefully. At first glance it seemed to be broad generalities. Upon closer examination I see that a lot of items listed as her “issues” were the exact issues put out by her Republican challenger Chad Miller. Is Cherrish Pryor so devoid of ideas she finds it necessary to find inspiration for her ideas from her opponent?
Keep in mind, Chad Miller had his website out there with much of this material posted near the time of the primary in May.
