Another Baron Lie: Baron, Obama & Abortion
As blogger, and contributor to Hoosier Access, Scott Tibbs has already noted, Baron Hill doesn’t have much of a problem with Barack Obama or the Obamassiah’s extremely radical position in favor of leaving babies that survive botched abortions to die.
Baron was on WGCL in Bloomington on August 8, and Scott called in to ask him about this position. Baron took exception to being criticized for his endorsement of Barack Obama:
Now that endorsement was also made in the face of the clear support of establishment and rank-and-file Democrats in the 9th District for Hillary Clinton.
(Read more after the leap)
Despite Baron’s endorsement, 9th District Democrats voted almost two-to-one for Clinton on primary day.
But let’s set aside Baron’s decision to go against and tell off his own base.
Let’s focus in on Baron, Obama, and abortion.
In a recent forum, Obama proclaimed that issues concerning abortion were “above my pay grade“; not something reassuring from a guy with a far-left pro-abortion record seeking a position where he will give life appointments to judges that will make decisions about abortion.
The Obama campaign has pushed back against National Right to Life over his opposition to the Born Alive Infants Protection Act, but the facts of the case are quite clear.
Now, Hillary Clinton isn’t exactly pro-life. But Scott Tibbs is right. At least Hillary Clinton did not vote in favor of legalized infanticide. Barack Obama did.
And Baron Hill endorsed Barack Obama.
How’s that for standing up for Hoosier values?

I need to slow down when I call into the radio. I am difficult to understand when I speak so fast.

What a jerk.
Anyone care to wager on whether Baron Hill will work on reinstating the Fairness Doctrine so he can’t be attacked on these talk radio shows?
(logic being FD would cause talk radio to disappear)

It wouldn’t impact this particular show much (WGCL’s Afternoon Edition), as it’s more of a public interest show that interviews a lot of people (Mike Sodrel has been on it a number of times).
Darryl, the host, has a soft touch and seldom throws fast balls.
Baron’s trouble on the show comes from the angry constituents that were calling in.
