The Great Seal of Barack, Take 2

From Hot Air comes word that the folks at the Cult of the Obamassiah have not given up on taking the Seal of the United States, changing it, and making it their own:

…It looks like the design team at the Barack Obama campaign have too much time on their hands. On their campaign website, the background image adapts the basics of the presidential seal — again — into an Obama campaign logo.

This time, Team Obama avoided the faux Latin for the normal “E Pluribus Unum”, but the rest of the design still screams “presumptuous”. Once again, we have the O Logo in the dead center, and an oddly oriented eagle — or what appears to be an eagle — clutching nothing but olive branches.

Didn’t Barack Obama learn from his last attempt to fashion his own “seal”? This looks a lot like compensation for either an unbridled ego or a person worried about his lack of credentials.

The arrogance and ego of this campaign just never ceases to amaze me.

  1. That wallpaper has been up for a while. Just because the McCain campaign can’t come up with cool graphics doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with Obama’s.

  2. This comment was deleted for profanity and racial slurs. Pay attention to the posting rules harldelos. If you do it one more time, even in jest, you’re gone.

There’s slick graphics and there’s the whole self-absorbed celebrity arrogance thing. Changing the seal of the country to fit your campaign (twice, no less), seems in my opinion to fall into the latter.

“You sure can count on them n****** to get uppity, can’t you? Next thing, they’ll be asserting that Hawaii is part of the United States.”

    Pardon?

“Or possibly pointing out that John McCain is ineligible to become president, because he was not a citizen at birth, but only became a citizen 11 months later?”

Well, that’s not a possibility I have thought about much, but Obama does have a history of utilizing law suits to push his opponents out of the race and face largely uncontested elections.

Heck, he lost the only genuinely and seriously contested election he has ever run by a landslide.
