Recycled Flags
Oops. The Democrats in Denver have given McCain a nice opportunity. The Republicans have managed to salvage (or recycle) 12,000 flags that were thrown away by the Democrats after their convention. What will they do with them? Well, McCain has an event today where they will be distributed.

These flags should not have been retired. They are in perfect…shall I say, like new, condition. The link I just added says that the leftovers will be used at memorials.

why didn’t the people who were waving them take them home? I mean they can fit in suitcase on top easily? I would of done that if I were there.

These flags should not have been retired.
Well, ideally, no. But if you’re going to get rid of the flags, it would have been more respectful to retire them by burning, rather than simply throw them in the garbage.
