I Found One! I Found One!
When I was on Abdul in the Morning last Friday, four separate callers called in to ask my Democrat counterpart Jen Wagner to name three legislative accomplishments by Barack Obama. She mentioned three things that she claimed were things that Barack himself usually answers when asked to list accomplishments:
- Marrying Michelle Obama
- Being a community organizer
- Registering record numbers of voters
I kid you not, that’s what she said. Abdul and Chris Spangle can back me up on that. And frankly, I’d love to post the audio of that.
But since those are far from legislative accomplishments (though I will give credit where credit is due..all are remarkable in their own right), I was able to come across at least one legislative accomplishment…though it was while he was in the Illinois Senate…and he was able to pass comprehensive sex education for (wait for it….) kindergartners.
Right.

“comprehensive sex education for (wait for it….) kindergartners.”
And a South Park episode that dealt with sex ed for kindergarten kids - Mrs. Garrison got to teach it.

From the Politico:

Bill Burton, Obama’s press secretary, responded in a statement: “It is shameful and downright perverse for the McCain campaign to use a bill that was written to protect young children from sexual predators as a recycled and discredited political attack against a father of two young girls – a position that his friend Mitt Romney also holds. Last week, John McCain told Time magazine he couldn’t define what honor was. Now we know why.”
I think the Obama campaign is losing their cool right now. They are frustrated and it shows as they resort to name calling.

So what’s the problem with comprehensive age-appropriate sex education for kindergarteners?
You want to keep ‘em stupid, so they’ll be easy prey for pedophiles?
John McCain has told his kids that he understands war and nobody else does. Yeah, right. Some prisoners of war refused to make propaganda broadcasts for the enemy, but John McCain made over thirty of them. And he can’t keep straight the lies he has told, whether it’s Green Bay or Pittsburgh football players he gave as the names of his squadron members, or a story he stole from Alexander Solzhenitsyn about a guard drawing a cross in the dirt.
No wonder he can’t define honor. It’s honesty, integrity, fairness and self-respect. George Washington couldn’t tell a lie; John McCain can’t tell the difference.

You are confused, as usual. I don’t know about the linemen that told them about, but the Solzhenitsyn story is not true. The story is not in Solzhenitsyn’s book and it did not happen.
