This is beyond disgraceful, but this proves the level that liberals will go to take down Sarah Palin. And don’t think that this is just some isolated incident. Remember in 2005 when the Democrat Senatorial Campaign Committee published Republican candidate for Maryland Senate’s social security number? It’s called identity theft you liberal morons and I hope you get sued and get prison time!

Sarah Palin’s private e-mail hacked, family photos raided
By Michelle MalkinScroll for updates…Wired News confirms…
Sometime early this morning, between approximately 3:00am - 4:00am, members of an infamous group of hackers broke into Gov. Sarah Palin’s private Yahoo e-mail account. The incriminating discussion threads included screenshots of Palin’s e-mail and private e-mail addresses of her contacts. The threads have since been deleted.
Hacking e-mail is a federal crime. A TV anchor who broke into his colleague’s e-mail account recently pleaded guilty and faces a maximum five years in prison.
The law will catch up to the hackers, but what about the lowlifes who are now gleefully splashing the alleged contents of Palin’s private e-mail account all over the Internet?
The Gawker smear machine — see here for all the background you need — has posted private family photos of Palin’s children that were apparently stolen from the e-mail account.
They have used Bristol Palin’s illegally obtained private cell phone number from her mom’s private account, recorded her voicemail message, and posted it on their website.
(Read more after the leap)
They have reprinted her husband Todd’s private e-mail address and son Track’s private e-mail address.
You think this is just a harmless prank? Those of you who have had to deal with break-ins and identity theft know exactly what a burdensome process it is to recover from crimes like this.
Gawker knowingly and deliberately published illegally obtained photos of the Palin children.
Where are the privacy absolutists now?
You think Palin Derangement Syndrome is bad now? These by-any-means-necessary lunatics are just warming up.
Let me repeat what I said about Nick Denton and his slime businesses in 2006. It’s every bit as relevant now. And I expect the same cowards who said nothing then to remain silent about the violations of the Palin family’s privacy now.

funny you should post this, as She Who Is Never Mentioned By Name Here By Me did the same thing to Eric Dickerson in 2006 (posted his SSN and DOB) and posted Cam Savage’s bank account information.
I recall in the case of Michael Steele not only did someone disclose his SSN, someone also posted his consumer credit report for all to see?

The FBI was brought in for the Steele situation, though the Democrat staffers who stole Steele’s information got nothing more than a slap on the wrist.
Here’s an update on the situation (some seriously F.U.S right here…I’ll let you figure out the initials)

There’s no excuse for this.
It isn’t a violation of federal law, though. Accessing of a computer in excess of your authorization is only a crime if it’s a “protected” computer, which is defined as computers which are used in interstate trade in the tens of thousands of dollars annually. This was her personal email, not her email account for state business. Larry Mendte, who Michelle Malkin references, made the mistake of hacking a business email account on a big TV station’s computer - which did meet the legal definition of “protected”
What’s more, it raises some questions about Palin. We all know that email is highly insecure. That’s why we haven’t been able to do much about spam. When you do a traceroute between two servers, you typically see eight or ten routers along the way. When you do a traceroute between your home computer and a server, you typically see ten or twelve routers along the way. A router is simply a computer running a special program. When you submit your username and password to a mail server, it’s passed as cleartext, meaning that any router along the way could grab the username and password. Any router along the way could grab the text of your emails as well.
This isn’t a big secret. Everybody and his brother is telling you that email is incredibly insecure, and you ought not use it for anything important.
So she was sending this kind of information through email? Doesn’t that make you feel all warm and comfy, knowing that she may someday be entrusted with this country’s most important secrets? Someone needs to take Ms. Palin aside and teach her about email.
Maybe Senator McCain could do that. After all, as the inventor of the Blackberry, he should be up on the technology…. (grin)

I’m not surprised in the least. I am ticked that the McCain campaign continues to operate with so little techno aplomb. I know a rant isn’t our favorite with 45 days left, but truthfully I am pulling for these guys but they need to step up
She shouldn’t have a yahoo account in the first place
Of course liberal wack jobs are going to hack the accounts, welcome to the 21st Century of bloggers and hackers and nothing is secret

Is it wrong that I laughed when I saw this on Drudge?
