What was the margin of error for each poll? What percentage in each poll answered undecided? Did any of these polls include Libertarian candidate Andy Horning? These three questions would factor into determining the accuracy of the polls.

While I agree with your point Indyglss, the point of the diagram shows that something is way off with the Star Poll. The Bellweather poll from 9/15 and the Rasmussen poll from 9/18 are fairly close. I’m not guessing there is a radical swing in opinion in a poll from the 9/15 poll to the Star’s 9/17 poll to a poll the very next day conducted by Rasmussen. Something is clearly fishy with the Star poll.

Did the Star poll include its methodology? E.g., how many Republicans polled vs. how many Democrats, Libertarians, Independents?
If not, it can be safely ignored like most of the rest of the fishwrap catbox liner I like to call the Gannett Star, because it undoubtedly skewed Democrat.
