Found this snippet on Editor and Publisher:

“On a bad day for newspaper stocks, shares of Gannett Co. (NYSE: GCI) [Gannett as in the owners of the Indianapolis Star] sank Wednesday to their lowest price in 18 years.

Gannett tumbled 11.25% during the session, shaving $1.18 off its share price to close at $9.31 a share. It price, adjusted for splits and dividends, hasn’t been that low since October 1990.

Gannett is scheduled to release its third-quarter results on Friday morning”

Funny. I’m having a hard time feeling sorry for them.

At the Saddleback Church Forum back in August, Barack Obama was asked at what point, in his view, does a baby gets human rights:

Yet Obama says his first act as President would be to sign the Freedom of Choice Act.

I guess someone must have just bumped up his pay.  Funny thing is, he made that statement over a year ago, but when pressed on a national stage he collapsed.

So, which is it Senator Obama?  If elected, will you sign the FOCA or will you play the “pay grade” and stay hands off?

The picture below shows a garage door on Bullseye Lake Rd the man is in his 80’s and had on his garage door God Bless America and Support Our Troops. I stopped and talked to him. He has four active duty military grandsons and has made his own McCain for President sign. He loves our country and our troops. I guess someone didn’t appreciate his right to freedom of speech so they decided to paint through the Support our troops and the God Bless America then decided that he should add Obama 2008. By the way 8 different people called the two local newspapers to try to get someone out there to do a story on this man and neither one would.
