Honest and Sincere: Sarah Palin with Greta Van Susteren

In case you missed, here is the Sarah Palin interview on Fox News with Greta Van Susteren.  After you get through the first five minutes talking about her “clothes” and other dumb controversies, it finally gets good.  Though one note to Governor Palin.  Not all bloggers live in the mom’s basement and blog in their pajamas.

For instance, I own my own house, but have no basement.   :)

One Response to “Honest and Sincere: Sarah Palin with Greta Van Susteren”

  1. Interesting interview–not because of Gretta (I am not particularly fond of her interview approach and insistence on focusing intently on the unimportant–5 minutes on her clothes?)

The main thing that I took out of this interview is that Palin is clearly looking toward 2012. Talking about this election, she said “it was not our time”–in other words there WILL be a time. Gretta was talking about feminists not supporting her in large numbers and Palin said, “I’m gonna work on that”.

Her loyalty to McCain is admirable, but I’d like for her to begin to start separating herself from him.

I don’t know if I will be supporting her in 4 years. There are things I like about her and there are things I don’t like. This experience of running for VP will certainly help her a lot if she does run in 2012. There is no question that she is a quality candidate and we would be a better party with more candidates like her.
