Oh come now, Josh. Even you admitted on the phone that you knew this would be a big gaffe for Steele. Is it the end of the world? No. But it is a gaffe, nonetheless.

I noticed you were approaching 50k views on the video the last time I looked. You’re welcome for making that the most popular episode of Hoosier Access’s show yet. But why did you turn off comments on the original post and the video? Don’t want “teh libruls” actually discussing the video with you? *grins*

and I can’t believe some of the responses there either. People are just flipping out over absolutely NOTHING.

I think Josh would agree, since he was also THERE, that the comments were in NO WAY racist. It’s laughable that this is even an issue.

I am certainly no fan of Michael Steele, and Lord knows this wouldn’t be his first notable gaffe, but shouldn’t you read posts before you comment on them?

The quoted and cited text is from Real Clear Politics. Since Angry White Boy (the Fort Wayne blog) blogged about what RCP said first, Josh gave them a hat tip. That’s a very different thing from saying that blog was cited.

It’s a noteworthy distinction.

So to defend Steele, Josh Gillespie cites a Fort Wayne blog who regularly refers to Mexicans as “wetbacks” and insists that Muslims don’t use toilet paper.

Gives me an idea of the mindset of Mr. Gillespie.
