Baron HillBaron Hill will be in Corydon today for at least two “constituent” events.

The Chamber of Commerce is hosting a closed-door “Q&A” lunch with him at Magdalena’s Restaurant downtown from 12:00 noon to 1:15. It’s not clear if the public can attend, or just Chamber members.

At 3:45 p.m., he is having a meeting with doctors and medical staff at the Harrison County Hospital.

It’s small group meetings all the way, it seems, so that Baron doesn’t have to face the dissatisfaction of his constituents in a genuine town hall.

Now that he has voted for ObamaCare, Baron probably doesn’t have a whole lot of interest in listening to what his constituents think.

  4. I saw the list of the targets this 2010 by NRCC

Hill and Ellssworth are on the list but not Donnelly ( I was surprised by that because Donnelly seat has a lot republican state senators and reps in it)

We really need top tier challenger to Hill and I wish Chris would run against Donnelly again; he was great congressman

  5. Baron is doing slightly better than Ellsworth in meeting the public, in public. But at least so far, it’s not nearly enough to be satisfactory. The Blue Dogs will probably reduce to Blue Chickens. Legislation by cowardice? If so, we can hope it will be amply rewarded in 2010 or 2012.
