Hoosier Access to Broadcast Warsaw Tea Party This Saturday

This Saturday a coalition of 12 tea party groups from around Indiana are holding the first of what could be many rallies across the state.  The rally, entitled “Countdown to Judgment Day – Making a Difference in 2010″ will take place at Lakeview Middle School in Warsaw, Indiana from 12:00pm – 3:00pm and feature guests of national and local prominence  including:

  • Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann
  • Reverend C.L. Bryant
  • Thomas Tabback
  • Emery McClendon
  • Local talk show host Peter Heck

They are also having a candidate forum featuring the three current GOP challengers to Senator Evan Bayh:

  • Marlin Stutzman
  • Don Bates Jr.
  • Richard Behney

And in addition to broadcasting Saturday’s Tea Party and in a Hoosier Access first, yours truly will be moderating the candidate forum.

  1. Glad to see you’ll be there Josh, we’re getting reports that some of the tea partiers from that area are a bit unruly. Some even suggesting taking up arms and fighting for their rights … that kind of talk is foolish and will only paint a legitimate grass roots movement as radical and marginal.

    I am surprised they are including candidates since they fought so hard in April not to do so. It could be that part of the change is Indy tea partier Behney is running for office so they change the rules to include candidates now. I hope they realize that once they start including all GOP candidates they will run afoul of those suggesting they are an unwitting tool of the big bad party.
