That’s it? That’s all? This is the ad that the National Organization for Women and the Feminist Majority have been screeching about? This is the ad that the Feminist Majority has said will inspire terrorism? Are you kidding me here?

“I not only dive for the mute button, but I end up having to close my windows so that the blast doesn’t affect by neighbors.” — Congresswoman Anna Eshoo, on the volume of commercials on TV.

Really? The commercials are that loud? Are you exaggerating just a bit, Congresswoman?

Hat tip: Brent Bozell.

Ok…I am not going to sugar coat this, this is sick and disturbing. When folks start basically praying to Obama, that is when this is out of total control! Listen folks, he cannot save you and he cannot save the world. Here is a tip for you…He is a Politician…not the messiah!

I saw this tweet from @Timaay on Twitter and he spelled it out and it makes sense “Contemplating the theological implications of liberal nutballs chanting “Hear us, Obama, Deliver us, Obama” ! Here is the video, you be the judge……

I would have appreciated it had she left her politics and her religion out, because Miss USA represents all Americans.

Blogger “Perez Hilton” actually said this in response to Miss California’s views on homosexual marriage – after he brought up the issue by asking her about her views on homosexual marriage.

Dude, if you don’t want an answer, don’t ask the question.

Somehow, I suspect that had Miss California’s views been different, he would not be saying anything about leaving “her politics and her religion out” of the answer. What an idiot.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, which has well-documented connections to the terrorist Earth Liberation Front, dispatched two young women to protest the Kentucky Fried Chicken on Bloomington’s west side on Saturday. As an added attention-getting measure, they were dressed in green bikinis (and what appeared to be leather boots) for St. Patrick’s Day.

Imagine for a moment that I showed up to picket Planned Parenthood wearing a thong. Despite the fact that my fellow abortion opponents would disown me and condemn my behavior, I would discredit the anti-abortion movement and bring shame upon myself with that kind of indecent exposure. Would I draw attention to the protest? Yes. Is it likely that I would draw a reporter from the newspaper, thereby bringing the issue of abortion into the spotlight? Yes. But I would be harming the cause of opposing abortion, even though more people heard about the issue by reading about my hypothetical thong-wearing protest.

This is why PETA’s protest tactics are not effective. Rather than drawing attention to the issue of animal cruelty, they make the issue all about themselves. If the PETA “ladies” were holding graphic photographs of chickens killed for our food, they would draw attention and probably anger, but the focus would be on the issue of animal cruelty – not the circus-like atmosphere created by immature people begging for attention.

The Kinsey Institute at Indiana University has opened a new display.

IU hosts sex & politics exhibit

“Will the sexuality become part of the (decision-making) factor?” she said. “You don’t know what stays in people’s heads when they’re behind the voting curtain. What images will you have of the candidate?”

Alternative media can offer different perspectives of candidates, she said.

“It’s humanizing them. We often think of them nonsexually.”

The exhibit opens today.

What?!?

So I was watching the “frammin’ and bammin’ and bangin’” of NASCAR Sprint Cup at Bristol, Tennessee. After a 10 car pileup the TV cameras were huddled outside the medical clinic awaiting the drivers’ exit and getting the interviews. In the background of the TV shot there was a door to the medical clinic. On the door of the medical clinic I saw this logo:

Wellmont Medical

Being a political junkie I thought “WHAT THE F? Did some moonbat sneak a Obama logo onto the door of the medical clinic?” After closer look I see it is the logo of Wellmont Health System, operator of several hospitals in the Tri-Cities region of NE Tennessee and SW Virginia.

Though it does make one wonder how uncanny this logo is similar to the now well known logo of B. Hussein Obama. The blue sky, the rising white light over the horizon, and the radiance over the earth. Only difference is in the Wellmont logo it’s rising over mountains and in the BHO logo it’s over I guess what one would call “rolling prairie” – though I’m not sure how much prairie there is on the southside of Chicago.

BHO Logo

An amazing story of government incompetence.

Last week, the U.S. Army soldier spent four days of his two-week leave from Iraq sitting in a cell at the Greene County Jail because he did not appear in court for his March 13 initial hearing on a misdemeanor charge of failure to stop after an accident resulting in damage to an unattended vehicle. He didn’t show up because he was at Speicher Camp in Tikrit, Iraq, 100 miles north of Baghdad on the Tigris River.

Howard had been deployed five days after the accident.

His father, Jeff Howard, said he called the Monroe County court system and offered to fax his son’s orders for Iraq. He said a woman agreed to postpone the hit-and-run case until his son returned home from war.

But that didn’t happen. Instead, a warrant was issued for his arrest the day of the scheduled hearing.

And when he got stopped on Ind. 231 north of Worthington this past Friday on a charge of speeding, the outstanding warrant popped up on the police officer’s computer. He hauled Nathan Howard off to jail and left Howard’s fiancee crying in the truck.

UPDATE: This bill is now assigned a number

H.RES.1258
Title: Impeaching George W. Bush, President of the United States, of high crimes and misdemeanors.

UPDATE 2: The House voted 251-166 today to send this to the Judiciary Commitee. Republicans that broke ranks are after the leap.

Just when I thought this Congress has reached it’s lowest point. Now Dennis K00kcinich has introduced a 35 count resolution calling for the impeachment of …. wait for it … President Bush!

The K00k read his Moonbat Manifesto into the record Monday night, and it took almost 5 hours to read it all.

Doesn’t Congress and The K00k have anything better to do than to introduce and hold hearings and vote on such nonsense?
