3rd District Democrats Give Lifetime Achievement Award to Corrupt Former Candidate

Monday, April 21st, 2008

Interesting blog post of the day -

Disenfranchised American, one of Fort Wayne’s finer blogs, posted this story a week ago about the 3rd Congressional democrats giving their J. Edward Roush “Lifetime Service Award” to Charlie Belch, a Fort Wayne Democrat who apparently had a bit of a corrupt business background and had his insurance license yanked in Florida and Indiana.  Interesting …

Zirkle Set to Debate Himself

Tuesday, April 8th, 2008

Tony HVFVGPD Zirkle, a Republican candidate for Congress in Indiana’s 2nd District, recently spent an hour and a half debating with fellow Republican candidate Joe Roush before an audience of 6 citizens. One of those audience members was Republican congressional candidate Luke Puckett’s campaign manager. It is unclear at this time if that figure also includes the South Bend Tribune reporter who must have had a falling out with management to get an assignment like that.

Today comes the news that Roush, a low budget candidate who advocates the elimination of the Federal Reserve system, will not be joining Zirkle, who has made insulting racial remarks, for any more debates. This has not deterred Mr. Zirkle at all since he has scheduled at least one more debate to take place at the Logansport High School. Since he will not be facing any opposition, it is presumed that he will debate with himself.

One interesting point about Zirkle’s candidacy is his strange choice of a middle name to appear on the May 6th ballot. The unpronounceable word “HVFVGPD” will show up between his first name and his last name. According to Zirkle, the word is “a mystery, wrapped in an enigma and couched in a riddle.” In a Hoosier Access exclusive, I heave learned from an un-named source what these letters mean.

(Find out what the letters mean below the fold.)

…And In Other News

I’m not much of a drinker. But when I do, gin and tonic is my beverage of choice (made with Bombay Sapphire…that’s the good stuff). But it looks like Absolut Vodka decided to stoke anti-American sentiment and is running the ad below in Mexico.

Obama The Overcomer

Monday, February 18th, 2008

Since my fellow blogger Scott has already beat me to the punch today and posted the video footage of Obama using another politician’s speech, I’ll follow that up with a post on Obama’s great oratorical powers.

You see, it seems that folks at Obama rallies are just getting so excited about Hope and Change (whatever definition they assign to those vague pronouncements) they are fainting in the middle of his speeches.  Now, some people might get a little weary of people fainting at their rallies, but not Obama.   No, he seems to handle the problem well, too well in fact.  Below is a link to a video with a string of fainting clips for you to review.  When I first saw one clip I thought that the fainting might be real.  Now I’ve got my doubts about the genuineness of these faints and I’m not the only guy with such doubts.

Watch the video and leave a comment back here on Hoosier Access (I couldn’t get the video to embed into the post).
