Recorded the night of May 6th from Congressman Dan Burton’s victory party. First Congressman Burton addresses the crowd then sits down with Josh and Adam for a short interview.
The remaining segments of Hoosier Access Radio, including the infamous Weird Pro Blogger Hour episodes are going onto iTunes. We apologize in advance for some of the audio quality - we thought we found a perfect place that was quieter for recording. That turned out not to be the case. On top of that we found cellular laptop cards don’t work there. “Internet - Lost!” to paraphrase an at&t wireless commercial.
UPDATE: A couple segments of the recent Saturday podcast recorded at the Ft. Harrison VFW are now posted to iTunes.
Two words: no connectivity!
My lessoned learned from moving to a different location? To scout the new place out to make sure I have a signal so the live blog will actually work.
My deepest apologies to those who stopped by the blog to participate in a live chat that never was. These are the little kinks that we’re working out as we try new things. But I promise you, it will work better next time as we will be at a place with a signal.
That said, we still recorded the podcast and the segments will be up in the coming days.
Click the link below to participate. It works just like instant messenger.
It’s that time again folks! It’s time for a little Hoosier Access Radio. Normally we do these podcast recordings the first Saturday of every month, but since last Saturday was the last weekend to campaign, we put off the show a week so we could talk about what happened Tuesday night.
The Blogger Roundtable will include discussions on:
We’re also going to try an experiment on making this interactive. So we’re going to open this podcast up as an interactive live blog as well. It works like Instant Messenger. So here are the details:
Catch it all tomorrow night!
This is one of those times I wish I had a blackberry and I could update the HA on site. But alas, I don’t. Also, it appears we’re all working the polls today either as campaign supporters or as workers in the polls. So make sure to check out Election Journal for your election day updates. They are on top of it!
On the bright side, Hoosier Access Radio will be recording a Election Night Results Show Podcast, this evening at the Dan Burton Party. So be on the lookout for that!
And if you haven’t yet, GO VOTE….Republican!!!!
In this special presentation, Hoosier Access Radio brings you a conference call with bloggers interviewing GOP Attorney General candidate Greg Zoeller. Note: Hoosier Access is not endorsing an AG candidate at this time.
Hoosier Access Radio presents an interview conference call with several statewide bloggers with Valpo mayor Jon Costas, candidate for Attorney General.
This was a recorded conference call so the audio quality isn’t quite high fidelity but you can hear what’s being said.
*Update #1* - We were pleased to have the opportunity to meet with Mayor Costas, but Hoosier Access is not supporting an AG candidate at this time. We hope to be conducting a conference call with all three candidates still running for Attorney General.
*Update #2* - Mayor Costas referred to an article from the Post-Tribune. Here is the link to that article.
Here’s the promised interview with GOP House District 86 candidate Adam Nelson
Tomorrow will be Zach Rice running in House District 40.
Lt. Governor Becky Skillman was a special guest on Hoosier Access Radio this past week. I was able to spend some time with the Lt. Governor and we discussed, property taxes, the session that just ended, her trade mission to Mexico, the upcoming election and host of other issues. Many thanks go to Lt. Gov. Skillman’s Chief of Staff Chris Crabtree and Press Secretary Angela Coats for making this happen. Thanks guys!
The interview is also available on iTunes.
The first of this weekend’s Hoosier Access Radio podcasts. Today’s release will be 2nd Congressional District GOP candidate Luke Puckett (to come later this afternoon on the site, but currently available via iTunes).
The Pending release schedule is:
Tuesday - Lt. Gov Becky Skillman
Wednesday - House District 86 GOP Candidate Adam Nelson
Thursday - House District 40 GOP Candidate Zach Rice
The continuing saga of the Weird Pro Blogger Hour will be released sometime this week, watch for it on iTunes.
Okay, so it’s not really a studio after all. We just happen to crash in the Indiana Room at the South Bend Chocolate Company on the Circle on the first Saturday of every month to catch up with elected officials and candidates. Every time we’ve done this, I have forgotten my camera. But fortunately, Rick Wilson of the Weird Pro blog remembered his and we were able to get some action shots of the day. So take a look at what a say in “the studio” is like.
(See what those crazy bloggers are up to below the fold) (more…)
Yep, it’s that time again. Time for the monthly Hoosier Access Radio podcast recording. Our guests on the “Hot Seat” will include:
Will will also have our “Blogger Breakdown” with featured guests, Chris Spangle of The Facts Were These, Brian Jessen of Circle City Pundit, Mike Jezierski of the Digital Farmers blog (and frequent HA contributor), Rick Wilson of the Weird Pro blog and Mark Warner of the Mark 95 blog. We’ll also have Adam Longworth, but he mostly just tags along and gets into trouble.
*Update* - We’ll be recording from 3-6pm, tomorrow, at our usual spot of the South Bend Chocolate Company on the Circle in downtown Indianapolis. (Thanks to Scott for reminding me to include that information.)
