As I was doing my daily blog review of Indiana’s blogs, I noticed this post on Congressman Burton’s blog on the issue of immigration. Sure, President Bush’s version of immigration reform (*cough*amnesty*cough*) got defeated in the Senate thanks to some right thinking Republicans and a few Democrat Senators, but in light of today’s story in the Indianapolis Star that in 1 of 10 counties across America, whites are the minority, immigration reform will pop back up in no time. And since there has been a backlash against immigrants since the data was released, true reform must be addressed.
